Soft, even daylight reads best. Overhead lights make rooms feel honest. We'll cover mirrors when we arrive.

Turn on every overhead light. Open blinds. We work better in even, diffuse light — direct sun bakes hot spots into the file.
Clear floors and counters. A tidied frame photographs cleaner; the scanner sees clutter the same way a camera does.
Hide cables, fluff bedding. Five-minute staging passes; your future-self embedding this on Airbnb will thank you.
Crate or close pets in one room. Movement during capture creates ghosting in the splat.
Have keys and parking sorted. Capture takes 60–90 minutes; we want every minute on the actual rooms.
